How to choose your first group ride
Reviewed 2026-09-06.
This guide is about fit, not a promise of a safe or no-drop ride. Road and trail conditions change.
Pace
Compare your km/h range to the listing. If you are on the edge, pick a chill ride, not a threshold session.
Distance and terrain
City and promenade rides are shorter. Road is longer. MTB needs trail bikes. Gravel can be a park path or a rough track.
What “no-drop” means
No-drop means the group waits for the last rider. Do not assume that unless it is written. On Iti, a chill listing is the closest signal.
